Walk down any street in Portland, Oregon and you are sure to encounter a mustachioed Brazilian rock and roll troubadour named Johnny Franco. Recently moving from Sao Paulo, Johnny has developed a little following in Portland for his high energy street performances and stylish music. Signed by music producer Sterling Fox (Lana Del Rey, Elle King) on his label Blanket Fort, Johnny has released a debut EP “Experience Report #1” that feels instantly timeless and two singles “Stay Real & Shelter The Light” combining Dylanesque vocal stylings with a unique jangly Brazilian influenced beat.

Pattie and Mark Björnson met at the University of Minnesota in 1985. They purchased their 107-acre Eola-Amity Hills farm in 2005 where they planted their 28-acre vineyard and lived with their four kids. Björnson Vineyards specializes in Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Gamay Noir, but offers a variety of sustainably crafted wines. The Björnson’s describe themselves as “committed eco-warriors, employing sustainable farming practices and renewable energy solutions.”
