Rooted in Portland, Fullerton Wines & BY-M100 come together to present NAMU. A limited release Pinot Noir with a flavor profile as unique as its collaboration.

Every Bottle has an original illustration by artist Jeff White, making each bottle one of a kind.

Jeff White is a fine artist from Portland, Oregon, specializing in oil and pastel paintings. Known for his dramatic and colorful skyscapes and depictions of the beautiful Northwest landscapes, his art is collected from around the world by many, including Clint and Dina Eastwood, Schnitzer Steel, and grammy-award winner Joanna Newsom.

NAMU comes from a single barrel of wine grown in Ribbon Ridge, which is one of the most sought-after places to grow Pinot Noir in the world. The wine is produced with minimal intervention letting the grapes speak of when and where they are from.

Picked early morning  in September of 2016, the NAMU block was carefully hand sorted, one cluster at a time, into a large barrel for fermentation. Nothing was added, nothing was removed (i.e. 100% whole-cluster, stems and all), and the barrel was sealed up with carbon dioxide to remove any oxygen. Using a complex array of fermentation techniques, NAMU was then aged for 18 months in a neutral French oak barrel before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.

With the fun juxtaposition of low extraction over a long time, this wine is both weightless and textured on the palate, both floral and smokey on the nose, harkening you to the heart of the Ribbon Ridge with a mouthful of dark fruit, baking spice, and cacao.
